By merging a premium, heavyweight tactical silhouette with our Dual-Strand Deployment System, we have transformed standard cold-weather gear into an active survival platform.

The Dual-Strand Deployment System

Replacing a cheap, standard cotton drawstring, the hood features an integrated ~7-foot, fully functional Multicam 550 Survival Cord deployment system. By threading a doubled-over cord through the hood, you carry ~7 feet of emergency cordage integrated directly into your neckline, deploying three vital survival tools in a pinch. Our dual-strand system is engineered with asymmetrical tension locks for rapid and secure adjustments.

Heavy-Duty 550 Paracord - Highly durable outer woven sheath and inner nylon strands for lashing, shelter building, or emergency rigging.

8 lb Monofilament Fishing Line - An inner nylon strand ready to deploy for food procurement or emergency sewing repairs.

Natural Jute Tinder Strand - A dry, fibrous inner strand designed to catch a spark from a ferro rod or match instantly, serving as an immediate fire-starting aid in wet environments.

Built for the long haul

We wanted this hoodie to last as long as possible, so we decided to keep things simple with a single embroidered logo on the front.  No fancy graphics, just simple and long-lasting. Bad for business - but we wanted this hoodie to be around for a long time. 

The Chassis: Built from premium 10 oz (330 gm) ring-spun cotton/polyester blend fleece. This high-density weave offers superior wind resistance and a substantial hand-feel, engineered to maintain its structural integrity through rigorous use.

The Fit: A generous, relaxed silhouette designed for unrestricted mobility and EDC. Pre-laundered to virtually eliminate vertical shrinkage, ensuring a consistent fit and professional appearance wash after wash.

Our Story

I started Solus Legion because I was tired of a bad trade-off. There's no shortage of "cool" graphic tees out there. But time after time, the ones with art worth wearing turned out to be the cheapest shirts money could buy. Hollow brands, slapping a design on a throwaway blank, with no thought behind the graphic and no meaning behind the name. I wanted to close that gap: art that actually says something, printed on a shirt built to hold up, backed by a brand that stands for something.

So that's what this is. Every design is built for the people who refuse to be a liability; the self-reliant, the ones who'd rather be the person others can count on than the one who needs bailing out. It's a visual code for that mindset, whether you're in the field on a hunt or sharpening the skills that keep you ready. Right now, Solus Legion is a one-man operation. I handle the sourcing, the logistics, and the standards personally, which means I have no one to hide behind and no reason to push garbage into the world. High-quality materials, specific constructions, and a standard I'd stake my name on, because I do, on every order.

There's one more thing I've watched happen since 2021, and it's part of why this brand exists. Customer service across the board has fallen off a cliff. Companies got big, got automated, and stopped treating the people who pay them like people. I refuse to run that way. When you buy from Solus Legion, you're not an order number; you're the reason any of this works, and you'll be treated like it. If something isn't right, you talk to me, and I make it right.

A name is a label; a Legion is a standard. This is Solus Legion: A collective of an army of one. That's where the name comes from: Solus means one — standing on your own two feet, self-reliant, no one to bail you out. Legion means an army. Put them together and you get the whole idea behind this brand — a collective of individuals who each carry their own weight, strong alone but stronger standing together. An army of ones.
